Let me first begin by giving you a little background about myself. I started in photography at a young age. My dad gave me my first camera at the age of 6. I did 4-H where I received awards for my work. I ventured on to college and put the camera away. As time went on, I realized I missed having a camera around. Upon the death of my dog and seeing how I had not captured many memories on film or through digital, I picked up the camera and have never let go. I joined the Bloomington Photography Club and began showing my work in various exhibits including Indiana Audubon Society, IU School of Fine Arts Juried Exhibit, and Sycamore Land Trust. In 2005, I started my own photography business from my home turning an extra room into my studio.

Photography is my way of expressing myself by capturing moments for my clients that might otherwise be missed. Having a camera around my neck and creating memories for people is, I believe, what I was born to do. I feel most comfortable behind the lens. I love that people trust me to take their precious moments and create memories that will last a lifetime.
